The Run For Thanks 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The Run For Thanks 5K event is an annual event sponsored by the Palmetto Runners Race Committee, Darlington, SC. Our mission is to promote health and physical fitness for all ages. Our format and schedule includes a 1 mile fun run/walk, and the 5K road race (main event). Awards will be given to the top 3 OVERALL winners and to the top 3 winners in each age group (male & female) in the 5K event. The race course makes use of the streets of the beautiful neighborhoods of Darlington County, and will be available on the website for the Palmetto Runners Race Committee. Proceeds from this event benefit The Central Baptist Church Childrens Ministry.
